The Blacklist feature allows merchants to prevent specific customers from placing new orders through Boxify.
This is useful for managing:
- Fake buyers
- Disruptive users
- Customers who repeatedly fail to make payment
- High-risk accounts
What Happens When a Customer is Blacklisted?
When a customer is added to the blacklist:
✔ The system will NOT collect orders from this customer
✔ Any new comments order from this customer will NOT be converted into orders
✔ Existing orders remain unaffected
However:
❗ The customer can still comment as usual on your posts or live sessions.
Blacklist only stops order collection inside Boxify.
It does NOT block the customer on Facebook or Instagram.
Important Clarification
Blacklist in Boxify:
- Prevents automatic order collection
- Does NOT hide or delete customer comments
- Does NOT block customer on social media
If you wish to block a user entirely, you must do so directly on the social platform.
How to Blacklist a Customer
Method 1 – From Order Page
- Go to Orders
- Open the customer’s order
- Locate the customer profile
- Toggle Blacklisted to blue
Method 2 – From Customer List
- Go to Customers
- Search for the customer
- Select the profile
- Click Edit & Toggle Blacklisted to blue
When Should You Use Blacklist?
Common situations include:
- Customer repeatedly fails to complete payment
- Customer abuses stacking behaviour
- Customer intentionally places fake orders
- Customer attempts payment manipulation
Important Notes
✔ Blacklist affects future order collection only
✔ Existing orders must still be managed manually
✔ The system will ignore new comments from blacklisted customers
✔ They can still comment on your posts, but no order will be created
Example Scenario
A customer repeatedly places orders but never pays.
After adding the customer to Blacklist:
- The customer comments “+1” on your next live session
- Boxify will NOT create an order
- Merchant does not need to manually cancel anything
This protects the merchant from fake or disruptive buyers.
