Messenger Setup Guide — Enable Message Capture
This guide shows you how to enable Message Capture so customers can place orders by sending keywords directly in Messenger.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Your Facebook Page is connected to Boxify.
- Page permissions are active.
- Keywords are created and activated.
- Stock is allocated to the keywords.
How to enable Messenger order capture
Section titled “How to enable Messenger order capture”- Log in to your Boxify system.
- Go to Settings.
- Click Parameters.
- Scroll to the Message section.
- Tick Enable Message Capture.
- Click Save.

Messenger ordering is now active.
What happens after enabling
Section titled “What happens after enabling”Once Message Capture is on:
- Customers can send keywords via Messenger to place orders.
- Orders are created automatically when the keyword and stock are valid.
- Boxify sends the payment link and cart through Messenger.
- Messenger ordering follows the same rules as comment selling.
How customers place orders in Messenger
Section titled “How customers place orders in Messenger”Customers type the keyword and quantity, for example:
A1+2Or they type cart to retrieve their shopping cart and payment link.
When to use Messenger capture
Section titled “When to use Messenger capture”Messenger ordering is useful when:
- Customers prefer to order privately
- Your live comment feed is moving too fast to catch all orders
- You want a backup ordering method
- You want to reduce missed comments
