Live Selling Engagement Checklist
Use this checklist before and during every live session to keep engagement healthy and orders flowing smoothly.
Before going live
Section titled “Before going live”- Prepare clear ordering instructions for viewers.
- Allocate stock and confirm keyword settings in Boxify.
- Test your keywords to make sure they trigger correctly.
- Prepare any visual overlays you plan to use (optional).
- Announce your live schedule in advance so viewers can plan to join.
During the live session
Section titled “During the live session”- Greet viewers naturally when they join.
- Repeat ordering instructions at regular intervals — not everyone joins from the start.
- Acknowledge commenters by name to encourage more interaction.
- Answer product questions clearly and promptly.
- Maintain a steady pace — avoid rushing through products.
Encourage interaction safely
Section titled “Encourage interaction safely”Ask genuine questions rather than prompting empty comments:
- “What do you think of this colour?”
- “Which size would suit you?”
- “Would you like to see this styled differently?”
Remind viewers how to place an order at the start and at each product reveal.
Monitor engagement health
Section titled “Monitor engagement health”- Watch the comment flow and respond naturally.
- Avoid sending large bursts of automated messages during the live.
- Do not use repetitive copy-paste replies in comments.
- Keep your tone human and conversational throughout.
After the live session
Section titled “After the live session”- Respond to any unanswered questions from the live.
- Follow up with customers in Messenger within the 24-hour messaging window allowed by Facebook.
- Review stock levels and order status in Boxify.
- Check your Page Quality in Meta Business Suite if you noticed a drop in reach.
