Use these steps to print order item labels with a Niimbot B21 thermal printer.

Before you start

• You need a Niimbot B21 printer (approximately RM170).
• You need a PC with a free USB port.
• Connect the printer directly to your PC with a USB cable — do not use a USB extension.

Print order item labels

1. Turn on the printer by holding down the power button.
2. Insert the sticker label into the printer with the label facing down. The printer will auto-calibrate the label position.
3. Open Boxify and go to the Order Items section.
4. Select one item to do a test print first.
5. Print the item.
6. Print again. Your label should print correctly from the second attempt.

Note

The first print after turning on the printer may produce a blank page. This is a known Niimbot bug and is normal.

Caution

This process has only been tested with the Niimbot B21. Other thermal printers are not guaranteed to work — use them at your own risk.

Driver troubleshooting (Windows only)

1. Open Device Manager.
2. Check that the printer is listed under Ports (COM & LPT) or Universal Serial Bus controllers.
3. Right-click the driver and select Update driver.
4. Choose Browse my computer for driver software.
5. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
6. Select USB Serial Device from the list.
